Job Summary: Mechanical Engineers will be expected to participate in project design from proposal to sealing Issued for Construction drawings. Projects will include a wide variety of machinery, systems, and structures for a range of industrial processes. These industries include: food processing, wood products, mining and more. This position also requires project management and leadership skills. Our engineers are expected to have a thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and tools. They will work closely with other engineering disciplines to accommodate all project needs. This position reports to the Engineering Department Manager.

The expected base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $115,000USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and qualifications.

Bachelors or better in Engineering.
Three years experience in consulting engineering, food processing, wood processing, mining and metals procession or equivalent. Relevant experience could include:Thermodynamics & Heat Transfer: Essential for designing HVAC systems, engines, and industrial processes.Fluid Mechanics: Used in pump systems, piping, hydraulics, and process equipment.Mechanics of Materials: Understanding stress, strain, fatigue, and failure in components.
