Job summary

Glint Tech Solutions in Pittsfield, MA, is seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer to join a cross-functional team supporting the Surface Ships Program for the U.S. Navy. You will take mechanical systems from concept through testing, manufacturing, and shipboard installation.

The role requires a strong CAD capability, hands-on fabrication knowledge, and collaboration across disciplines. Ideal candidates have 5+ years' experience (or 3+ with a Master's) and U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required and DoD Secret clearance may be needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM with 5+ years of experience, or Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience using CAD software for mechanical models and drawings
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing/fabrication methods and technical, government, and industry standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for shipboard systems
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
• Support prototype development, testing, manufacturing, and system integration
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges
• Participate in equipment installation and validation on Navy surface ships
