  • Back designs with sound calculations, and document them through BOMs, drawings, special customer requests, and product change notices
  • Serve as a technical resource for manufacturing, quality, sales and marketing, technical services, and supply chain
  • Work with vendors, customers, and field personnel
  • Present technical findings to engineering and business audiences
  • At the Senior level: lead projects and teams, mentor less experienced engineers, write product specs and roadmaps, and track project costs and KPIs
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of product design and project experience (10+ years and two or more released product families for Senior consideration)
  • Working knowledge of HVAC system design, components, and how they integrate
  • Strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and heat exchanger design
  • Experience with the NPD process, DFSS, and DFMA
  • Hands‑on lab experience with test stands, instrumentation, data acquisition, calibration, measurement uncertainty, and DOE
  • Knowledge of industry standards and agency compliance
  • Understanding of air management, aeroacoustics, and structural analysis
  • Familiarity with controls, sequence of operations, and electrical wiring
  • Experience with simulation tools, some programming, and Microsoft Office (MRP and database experience for Senior)
Nice to Have
  • Master’s degree, especially with an HVAC or thermal sciences emphasis
  • EPA Section 608 Universal certification
  • HVAC&R manufacturing experience
  • Participation on regulatory or industry standards committees
