Summary: As a Mechanical Engineer (or Project Engineer), you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the mechanical systems and infrastructure for various projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure mechanical systems are designed and built. Your expertise will guide the success of the project, from initial concept through to final installation and operation. The role demands technical expertise and a deep understanding of codes and regulations.

• Lead the design of mechanical systems for projects, including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and process systems.
• Conduct thorough analyses of systems (new and existing).
• Develop detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and reports in compliance with local building codes and industry standards.
• Recommend system improvements based on performance data and design reviews.

Project Management & Coordination:

• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into overall project plans.
• Design the mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and budget.
• Review and approve mechanical shop drawings and change orders during construction.

Quality Control:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations (local and State) related to mechanical systems and installations.
• Lead the review of the design.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff, offering technical guidance and professional development.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical direction for projects and troubleshooting.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
