Job summary

Gpac partners with a rapidly growing manufacturing company seeking an Industrial/Mechanical Engineer focused on quality systems. The role emphasizes quality engineering experience within a manufacturing setting and familiarity with ISO 9001 and audits.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in quality improvement, metrology, calibration, and ERP/document control systems to support a small-to-mid-sized operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering (or similar) from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of quality engineering, quality assurance, or quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System knowledge and exposure to audits is preferred.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering (or similar) from an accredited institution
• 3+ years of quality engineering, quality assurance, or quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred

• ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System
• Customer audits, certification audits, government inspections, and regulatory assessments
• Engineering change reviews and evaluating quality impacts of design or process changes
• Direct experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Metrology and Calibration systems
• Experience with ERP systems, document control systems, and electronic quality management systems
• Experience in a small-to-medium-sized manufacturing organization where the individual owned multiple aspects of the quality function
