Job summary

Excelon Solutions in Milpitas, CA seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and integration of complex vacuum systems and large assemblies. You will coordinate across onsite and offshore teams, develop conceptual and detailed designs using Creo/ProE and AutoCAD, and ensure manufacturability with metal forming, welding and machining.

The ideal candidate has strong materials knowledge, multi-discipline collaboration skills, and familiarity with SEMI standards; excellent written and verbal

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating onsite and offshore teams.
• Experience managing large assemblies and system layout using reference geometry.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, sheet metal forming & operations).
• Vacuum system design experience.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling (Creo/ProE) and other 3D tools.
• Knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques for vacuum systems.
• Ability to work in a multi-discipline, multicultural global organization.
• Ability to adapt focus based on priority changes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• SEMI standards/Semiconductor domain experience is a plus.

New Position: Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Location: Milpitas, CA

Job Summary:

• Very Good experience in onsite-offshore coordination
• Managing large assemblies and system layout using reference geometry
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, sheet metal forming & operations
• Vacuum system design
• Develop conceptual and detailed designs using 3D modeling software packages (ProE/Creo, etc.)
• Proficient in 3D solid modeling using CAD, preferably ProE/Creo
• Understanding of materials and fabrication techniques for vacuum systems
• Be able to work in a multi-discipline and multi-culture global organization.
• Be flexible and adaptive to adjust project focus based on priority changes.
• Excellent writing skills and verbal communication
• Good knowledge of Engineering Materials in the design environment.
• Experience in reverse engineering can be an added advantage.
• SEMI (S2, S8) standards/Semiconductor domain experience added advantage.

Tool Requirements:
