Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. in Lyndhurst, VA, seeks a mechanical design lead to architect and oversee the design of mechanical rooms, piping networks, and refrigeration components for cold storage warehouses.

You will collaborate with fabrication and procurement teams to ensure compliant, high-performance systems, applying AutoCAD and related CAD tools, and guiding the team through detailed BOM and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and 2-5 years of experience in mechanical system design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, with familiarity in Inventor or SolidWorks and a strong grasp of refrigeration principles.
• Experience with refrigeration piping, materials selection and thermal analysis is a plus.
