Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to contribute to projects from concept through construction with mentorship from senior engineers.

You will engage in in-house coordination across multiple disciplines and grow through a defined career path. Strong Revit skills and 8+ years in AE construction are required, with a focus on design excellence and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Practical Revit experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the architectural engineering construction environment.
• Demonstrated success in project design, time management, and technical / formal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist on projects from concept to construction with in-house coordination across disciplines.
• Work independently on smaller projects with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver designs on schedule.
• Contribute to mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team.

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for all sizes and types of projects, with the opportunity to work independently on smaller projects and the guidance and mentorship of experienced engineers for more complex projects. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow your experience from concept to completion of construction with the benefit of in-house coordination with multiple other disciplines. TLC provides a defined career path and training at all levels.

Qualifications You’ll Need

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering
• Practical Revit experience
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the architectural engineering construction environment
• Demonstrated success in project design, time management, and technical / formal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PE or has EI and in the process of preparing for the exam
