Job summary

MultiPoint Engineering, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC, plumbing, piping and central plant systems for large healthcare, aviation, education, and public projects.

You will perform load calculations, equipment selections, and prepare drawings and specifications from concept through construction, coordinating with clients, architects and the MEP team. You will mentor junior engineers, support quality control, and work closely with a project manager to deliver

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• PE license preferred; EIT candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional or healthcare buildings.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
• Load and energy modeling software such as Trane TRACE or Carrier HAP is a plus.
