  • Strong understanding of high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) mechanical design for drilling environments
  • Experience with mechanical assemblies such as mud-pulse telemetry pulsers, LWD collar components, rotary steerable system (RSS) mechanisms, and ruggedized downhole housings
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drafting (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with tolerance analysis, material selection, and design for manufacturability in harsh environments
  • Familiarity with vibration, shock, and fatigue considerations for downhole tools
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical failures and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Experience supporting full product lifecycles - from concept and prototyping to testing, production, and field sustainment
  • Strong collaboration skills with electrical, firmware, and operations teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and support fast-paced development cycles
