Job summary

The Mice Groups, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Fremont, CA to design, analyze, test, and document high-precision mechanical systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will apply advanced CAD tools and FEA to develop robust assemblies and ensure manufacturability.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, create validation plans, and contribute to packaging and drawing packages while solving complex technical problems with ownership and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's (and for preferred candidates, a Master’s) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling with Siemens NX, Creo/Pro/E, or SolidWorks.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics, materials (aluminum, plastics, ceramics, quartz), and machining considerations.
• Experience with thermal and structural finite element analysis and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Ability to communicate design intent and technical details to cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong 3D CAD modeling skills; experience with Siemens NX, Pro/ENGINEER (Creo), or SolidWorks
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Understanding of material properties and machining considerations for aluminum, plastics, ceramics, and quartz
• Experience with finite element analysis (thermal and structural)
• Tolerance stack-up analysis
• Structured problem solving and understanding of failure modes
• Statistical analysis and technical data presentation
