Job summary

Motivo is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our project teams and contribute to world-changing technologies. You’ll own ideation and system-level design, manage client and vendor relationships, and bring hardware concepts to life, with a voice in product strategy.

You’ll operate within a premium engineering consultancy environment across mobility, aerospace, robotics, and clean energy, delivering rigorous design, testing, and fabrication work on diverse programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanism design, planning, modeling, verification.
• Hands-on skills in prototyping, fabrication and testing.
• Ability to perform static/dynamic/thermal analysis.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Motivo is looking to bring new Mechanical Engineering talent onto our project teams and contribute to the development of new, world-changing technologies.

• An engineering role at Motivo means broad ownership and education. There are no cogs here. You’ll be responsible for ideation and feature definition, system-level design, client and vendor management, and hardware bring-ups. You’ll be the owner of your designs. You’ll have a seat at the table with CEOs/CTOs and have a voice to contribute to product strategy and viability. We are a premium engineering consultancy and our clients’ success depends on you actually voicing up and shaping the big picture.

Qualifications

• Success at Motivo is largely driven by hard who, creativity, and collaboration. But some baseline experience we’re looking for involves mechanism design (planning, modeling, verification), hands-on skills (prototyping, fabrication, testing), and analysis (static, dynamic, thermal). • Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
• Salary is dependent on experience, knowledge, and interview performance.
