Using our technology, we plan to provide affordable launch services for satellites, cargo, and future space infrastructure. We aim to enable a future where humans can reach for the stars.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will support the design, development, and testing of hardware critical to our kinetic launch technology. You’ll work across a variety of subsystems—from high pressure gas systems, thermal protection systems, to structures—helping to build and refine the hardware that powers our launch and vehicle platforms.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities for growth in both technical and leadership tracks. You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, fluids, and aerospace engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure electrical systems meet performance and reliability goals.
  • Support integration of electrical systems with mechanical, fluids, and software components.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering preferred.
  • 0–3 years experience in a hands-on test, design, manufacturing or R&D setting.
  • Experience with high-pressure gas/fluid systems in excess of 500 psi in large volumes.
  • Exposure to hydrogen safety, rocket test, or propulsion lab environments a bonus.
  • Strong organizational and executional skills, including documentation and planning.
  • Passion for learning, problem solving, and working as part of a fast-moving team.
What You’ll Gain
  • Competitive pay, benefits and equity
  • Work on challenging, real-world engineering problems at the frontier of space technology.
  • A role in building and testing hardware with real-world impact.
