Job summary

Apache Stainless Equipment Corporation, a custom manufacturer of high-quality commercial industrial and wholesale capital equipment, is seeking a paid internship for a full-time mechanical engineering student.

You will support engineering teams with technical assignments, gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, and participate in a variety of projects across engineering disciplines. This internship offers exposure to real-world manufacturing environments and collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time engineering student in an accredited college or university studying toward a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Must complete the sophomore year in the major program of study
• Must be able to work full-time during scheduled periods of time
• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Hands-on work experience in manufacturing is helpful
• Participates in and is exposed to projects in a variety of functional areas within our engineering department.
• Expands and enhances basic knowledge in combination with academic subjects of study.
• Interacts with supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Supports engineering teams by performing assignments of a technical nature
• Participates in a variety of assignments within engineering
• Performs specific portions of assignments for higher-level staff
• Performs other duties as assigned
