Job description

Overview:

Our client is a well-established consulting engineering firm that is a national pioneer in the development of net zero energy buildings. They are currently seeking a Mechanical EIT to join their growing team within the Fargo market!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated responses.
• Calculate heat loss/heat gain requirements for buildings.
• Layout of mechanical systems using AutoCAD and/or REVIT software.
• Coordinate system design with other trades.
• Assist in jobsite meetings as needed.
• Identify and resolve conflicts as they arise.
• Create and maintain customer relationships.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 3+ years of experience in MEP.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT software.
