Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen, Ohio, is seeking a Mechanical Drivetrain Engineer to help design and improve drivetrain systems for new products and updates. You will create and update mechanical designs using CAD tools, analyze gears, shafts, motors, bearings, and support testing with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality, service, and purchasing.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• CAD and 3D modeling skills.
• Basic understanding of GD&T.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Occasional travel with overnight stays (0-5%).
• Reliable transportation to travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Familiarity with gear or drivetrain standards.
• Experience with gear or drivetrain analysis software.
• Understanding of casting or forging design.
• Experience with tolerance stack-ups.
• Basic knowledge of materials and heat treatment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes.
