Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Draftsperson - Rebuilds to design, develop, and lay out drawings of equipment parts for fabricators and machinists in the shop.

This non-exempt, hourly role follows a 5 days on/2 days off schedule (6:00 am–5:00 pm). Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS and CAMWorks, or the ability to learn them, plus drafting coursework or degree, are expected; five years of related experience and mining/heavy equipment familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed an Accredited Engineering or Drafting Technology Program with courses in mechanical drafting, mechanical design, and CAD systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is a plus but not required.
• Five years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use or learn SOLIDWORKS and CAMWorks to create preliminary and detailed drawings.
• Program parts using CAMWorks.
• Produce specifications for equipment parts to assist in material selection.
• Precisely measure components for drawings.
• Develop and maintain documentation for drawings and designs.
