Job summary

Ground Force/Mega Worldwide of Albuquerque is seeking a Mechanical Designer to design and document mechanical, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company guidelines.

The role requires independent judgment, solid knowledge of engineering principles, proficiency with SolidWorks, and ability to translate design data into ERP. Travel to customer sites within the US and occasionally abroad is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience designing mechanical, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks modeling.
• Ability to translate design data into ERP data and work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and document mechanical, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems and products.
• Study customer requirements and test manufacturing and assembly methods.
• Travel to customer sites within the US and occasionally outside the US.
• Maintain professional communication with stakeholders and meet schedules.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• All other duties as required.
