Fuse is looking for a mid-level Mechanical Designer to join our team onsite in San Diego, CA. We’re looking for a mechanical designer that can balance discipline and attention to detail with outside-the-box thinking and an innovative problem-solving attitude. Must be a pragmatic and mission-driven self-starter. Apply your analytical and detail-oriented mindset to develop, own, and improve Fuse’s products for U.S. defense agencies that improve the sharing of information among warfighters distributed throughout airborne, maritime, and ground environments. Through a collaborative effort with the Electrical, Systems, and Production teams, this role will support Fuse Engineering to build communications, networking, and computing solutions for the warfighter. This is a mid-level role with great potential for growth.
Warfighter-focused design and development is at the heart of Fuse processes. Throughout Fuse development our experienced team applies the best practices of commercial design-thinking, coupled to the DoD systems engineering framework. The coupling of commercially proven design with rigorous systems engineering gives Fuse an ability to rapidly design, develop and field solutions well inside of typical military design cycles. Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000
