FAST Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Designer II to create high-quality 3D models and production drawings for parts, weldments, and assemblies based on customer and internal requirements.

You will develop detailed designs and collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy and manufacturability. On the production floor, you will troubleshoot, validate, and iterate designs, supporting from concept through production and contributing to ISO compliance.

Competenze

• 3+ years of CAD design experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent in Mechanical Design or related field.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
• Ability to interpret concepts and transform into detailed production-ready designs.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office tools.

What You'll Do

As a Mechanical Designer II, you'll create high-quality 3D models and production drawings for parts, weldments, and assemblies based on customer and internal requirements.

In this role, you'll:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs and drawings
• Develop parts, weldments, and assemblies from concepts, sketches, and design discussions
• Verify dimensions, materials, tolerances, and manufacturability
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to ensure design accuracy
• Support product development from initial concept through production
• Troubleshoot and validate products on the manufacturing floor
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support project success
• Apply engineering principles, materials knowledge, and fabrication processes to solve practical design challenges
• Support quality and ISO requirements as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CAD design experience
• Associate degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
• Ability to interpret concepts and transform them into detailed production-ready designs
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office tools
