Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least two years of Design experience.
• Intermediate expertise and experience in the current release of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience producing construction documents for industrial, commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, or similar building types.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, components, and layouts.
• Ability to design piping systems for various liquids and gases.
• Ability to work from engineering direction and design criteria.
• Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

JP Cullen is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to support mechanical system design for building projects. This position is a pure design role, responsible for producing accurate, coordinated mechanical construction documents using Revit and other design software. The role works closely with engineers and project teams and does not require professional licensure.
