Integrating advanced autonomy with rugged industrial hardware for austere conditions. We are seeking a Mechanical Designer in Louisville, CO to develop detailed mechanical designs, CAD models, and production-ready drawings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience in Mechanical Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, drafting, or product development.
• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, industrial equipment, or other complex mechanical systems is preferred.

• Proficiency with Solidworks 3D CAD Software.
• Experience creating 3D part and assembly models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and assembly documentation.

Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Designer will support the development of aerospace and defense products through detailed mechanical design, CAD modeling, engineering documentation, and manufacturing support.
• This role works closely with mechanical engineers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and production personnel to develop accurate, producible designs.
• The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented designer who enjoys turning concepts into manufacturable hardware, creating high-quality engineering drawings, supporting prototype builds, and helping improve products through the design and production lifecycle.

With multiple working prototypes in hand, we are entering the critical phase of transitioning these platforms into production over the coming years to deliver capable systems at scale. We are looking for talented and experienced engineers who want to take ownership of hard problems and play a key role in bringing multiple platforms into production.
