An innovative metal 3D printing company in Boulder is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. This role requires a hands-on approach to design, build, and validate mechanical systems for a next-generation 3D printer platform. Ideal candidates should be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, possess CAD experience (preferably SolidWorks), and demonstrate strong communication and build skills. Compensation ranges from $800 to $1500 per week, depending on experience and capability.

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• CAD experience in at least one major tool, SolidWorks strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated hands-on build experience through projects, lab work, internships, or personal builds.

Mansioni

• Design and iterate mechanical subsystems for the 3D printer platform.
• Create and maintain CAD models and drawings.
• Build prototypes and test setups, debugging hands-on.
