Advance CNC Machining seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to take ownership of projects from conception through completion. The role requires designing parts and assemblies, creating CAD models and drawings, and interpreting technical information.

You will collaborate with customers and vendors to ensure precise, manufacturable designs. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, SolidWorks experience, and strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, plus education/experience.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and excel at problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge from experience in manufacturing, inspection, machine design, controls systems, and project management.

At Advance CNC Machining, we specialize in producing high precision machined parts for customers from coast to coast including equipment manufacturers, food, drug and the aerospace and defense industries.

What You’ll Do

As Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll provide accurate designs and analysis, be a problem solver, and take ownership of your projects and see them through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysis of sample parts and machinery
• Interpretation of technical design information
• Design of parts and mechanical assemblies as per customer requirements
• Creation of CAD models, engineering drawings, and inspection plans for manufacturing
• Collaboration with customers, vendors, and other team members

The skills needed:

• Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering gained from a bachelor’s degree or other education and experience.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.

• Knowledge from relevant experience, such as manufacturing, inspection, machine design, controls systems, and project management
