Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design piping and fluid systems, size equipment, and perform pressure-drop calculations for nuclear-material handling contexts. You will ensure ASME-code compliance and contribute to technical documentation and field inspections.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and have at least two years of hands-on piping experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD and collaboration with procurement and testing teams are expected.

A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is sought, along with at least two years of hands‑on experience in piping, fluid systems, or process equipment. Candidates should have experience with equipment sizing, pressure‑drop calculations, pipe‑stress concepts, relevant codes and safety practices, and must be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
