Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases in North Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Design Engineer to join the Engineering department. You will implement project design and improvements to existing products per design plans.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering and about 2 years of related experience, proficiency with 3D CAD (SOLIDWORKS preferred), GD&T, and basic engineering calculations. You will create models, drawings, and BOMs, and collaborate with project engineers.

Qualifications

• 3D CAD experience; SOLIDWORKS preferred with ability to create models, assemblies and drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of GD&T and basic engineering calculations.
• Strong time management and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Modify and create 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Create and modify Bills-of-Materials in CAD and MRP/ERP.
• Create and modify documentation to manufacture and assemble products.
• Follow directions from Design & Project Engineers.
