Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer I to help design and develop innovative mechanical solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and performance of components and systems that meet customer needs and industry standards.

You will support simulations, drawings, and tolerance analysis while contributing to product development and quality assurance efforts in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical design and development.
• Proficiency in Ansys Workbench, CAD Modeling and GD&T.
• Familiarity with Python for solving systems of equations.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulation and analysis of mechanical loads using Ansys Workbench.
• Create CAD models and technical drawings.
• Assist in design engineering, sizing, and solutions.
• Interpret customer requirements and constraints.
• Conduct GD&T and tolerance studies.
• Utilize Python for root solving and equation systems.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative mechanical solutions.
