Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of mechanical engineering, product design, or design engineering experience.
• Experience using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong hands-on aptitude for building and testing assemblies.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and maintain commercial demonstration kits with the Principal Design Engineer.
• Support design, fabrication, testing, and refinement of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Ensure demo kits are functional, organized and ready for rapid deployment to commercial teams.
• Coordinate packing, inventory management, and shipment preparation of demonstration equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement design improvements for reliability and usability.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, assembly instructions, and BOMs.
• Assist with prototyping, validation testing, and product development activities as needed.
• Manage inventory of demo components and supplies.
