Job summary

Pacific Netting Products, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical and Design Engineer to lead complex projects from concept through completion.

The role demands hands-on engineering experience, strong technical judgment, and the ability to develop detailed drawings and specifications for fabrication and installation. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related field) with 2–5 years in engineering design, proficient CAD skills (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and strong math and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
2–5 years of experience in engineering field.
Experience designing structural systems and products.
Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong math, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for production and installation.
Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
Create and review technical drawings using CAD software.
Generate preliminary plans for bidding and pricing.
Collaborate with management, production, sales, vendors and customers to meet timelines and budgets.
Document project development from inception to completion.
Conduct post‑project reviews and drive process improvements.
