Job summary

JBT Marel Corporation in Eastlake, Ohio, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, update, and modify high-speed bottling and can filling equipment. The role centers on capital equipment design, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration within a PDM-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in beverage/packaging equipment design is preferred.
• Experience using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and PDM or similar vault is required/beneficial.
• AutoCAD, FEA, and CFD experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage BOM and drawing changes through ECO process in a PDM system.
• Design and develop parts and assemblies using SolidWorks; create drawings for manufacturing.
• Create vendor control drawings from vendor-supplied components.
• Prepare mechanical support for projects, including fixtures and layout drawings.
• Convert legacy drawings from AutoCAD to SolidWorks.
• Support project team and document needs and changes from customer interactions.
• Assist in FAT preparation and execution; participate in value engineering events.
• Travel onsite ~15% and collaborate with customers and teammates.
