Job summary

Rasmussen Mechanical Services seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support customers, project managers, and sales staff with drawings, calculations, and technical guidance. You will evaluate equipment applications, size ductwork and piping, and contribute to project estimation and problem solving at customer facilities.

Responsibilities include creating design documentation, 3D models, GA’s, P&ID’s, and fabrication drawings, as well as providing technical advice and ensuring quality and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 1 year of Mechanical Engineering experience or internships required.
• Certifications and professional licenses in mechanical engineering are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support design-build projects from definition to 3D model and fabrication drawings.
• Provide technical support and sound advice to customers, PMs and sales staff.
• Prepare P&ID, GA, isometrics, and fabrication drawings for projects.
• Assist with engineering documentation standards and project hand-offs.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and client needs to prepare solutions and estimates.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure high levels of service and safety compliance.
