Job summary

RFA Engineering is seeking an Entry-Level to experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team onsite at our customer’s world-class facility in Waterloo, IA. You will work with an experienced staff using Creo and Windchill to model components and prepare 2D drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities include communicating with suppliers and customers on product selection, supporting 3-D modeling of parts and routing, and collaborating with manufacturing to develop robust, cost effective

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Agricultural Engineering or related field.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Communicate with suppliers and customers on product selection and integration.
Use Creo and Windchill to support 3-D modeling of components and routing.
Create and support 2-D drawings and specification documentation.
Collaborate with manufacturing, verification, and suppliers to develop robust, cost-effective designs.
Compile information and reports to document design decisions for prototypes and production.
