Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 0 to 3 years of engineering experience is expected.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Previous internship or co-op is required.
• Understanding of GD&T, manufacturing drawings, and mechanical design principles.
• Experience with machining, fabrication, or assembly processes is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design new mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T and proper tolerancing.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
• Work directly with manufacturing to optimize designs for production.
• Perform engineering calculations related to material selection, strength, and thermal performance.
• Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and maintain engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve existing product designs.

Salary: $68,000 to $75,000 annually
