• Develop complex sheet metal designs, weldments, and assembly drawings for custom vehicle bodies.
• Create comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation to support high-volume product orders.
• Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to generate precise 3D models and 2D production layouts.
• Ensure all mechanical designs comply with NFPA guidelines and industry safety standards.
• Collaborate with sales teams and customers during pre‑construction meetings to interpret technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and fabrication issues on the shop floor to maintain production schedules.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and materials into next‑generation vehicle architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal design, fabrication, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is required.
