Belcan Corporation in Goleta, CA is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer on a contract basis. You will create detailed drawings and model components using 3D CAD, primarily SolidWorks, to support customer requirements.

Job Description:

• As part of the mechanical engineering design team, create detailed drawings for panels that support customer needs and design requirements.
• Proficient at modeling in 3D Solidworks CAD with mostly flat mechanical parts.
• Proficient at creating mechanical layouts and completing design studies/trades as required.
• Familiar with weldments, machined parts and other mechanical part drawings is necessary.
• Ability to work with a small team under the direction of Client lead mechanical engineer.
• Works within an organized framework to allow efficient information sharing.
