Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to own the design of a high-speed, high-precision subsystem for a semiconductor assembly machine. You will create thorough CAD models and develop detailed drawings and documentation for production.

The role is fully onsite in Ft. Washington, PA with 1st shift (Mon–Fri). Compensation ranges from $45–$55 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, 401(k) with employer matching, and paid time off per law.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 4–8 years of hands-on engineering development experience with electromechanical systems.
• Experience with CAD programs.
• GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with measurements: motion accuracy, force, temperature, vibration, pneumatics.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of physical principles governing machine behavior.
• Effective verbal and written communication; team-oriented.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical engineering (BS minimum, MS preferred)
• 4-8 years of hand-on engineering development experience with electromechanical systems
• CAD program experience
• GD&T knowledge
• Experience with mechanical measurements such as motion accuracy, force, temperature, vibration, and pneumatics.
• Attention to detail and good understanding of physical principles governing machine behavior
