Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to subsystem design using Creo, perform calculations and analyses, and integrate product usage insights to enhance customer experience. You will work closely with the design team and other functions, providing hands-on shop support for machine builds and upgrades.

You should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and experience in mechanical design and equipment assembly.

Responsibilities

• Subsystem design using Creo for parts modeling and drawings.
• Support designs with calculations, virtual analysis, decision analyses and feedback from others.
• Incorporate knowledge of product usage into design to improve customer experience.
• Collaborate with product design, Marketing, Program Management, Test Engineers, and Systems Engineers.
• Provide hands-on support for machine builds and upgrades in the shop.
• Coordinate with shop teams via work orders for assistance in tasks.
• May provide in-field support during machine deliveries for customer feedback.

Subsystem design (parts modeling in Creo, drawings for prototype shop or suppliers).

Support designs with calculations, virtual analysis, decision analysis, and feedback from others.

Integrate knowledge of product usage into design to improve customer experience.

Work closely with the product design team and other functional areas, including Marketing, Program Management, Test Engineers, and Systems Engineers.

Provide hands‑on support for machine builds and upgrades in the shop.

Coordinate with shop teams via work orders for assistance in certain tasks.

May provide in‑field support when machines are delivered to Marketing for customer feedback.
