Role

The position involves guiding new technologies and mass production development by generating innovative ideas, creating detailed designs and drawings to meet specifications, and ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction, primarily in the Power Products category.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level technical drawings using CAD software (Catia), FTA/FMEA, and adherence to standards.
• Facilitate prototype creation, engineering estimates, supplier negotiations, and mass production setup.
• Support on-site activities like prototype builds and collaborate with research teams to address testing concerns.
• Lead small project teams to meet development milestones, coordinate resources, and communicate progress.
• Manage bill of materials, control costs, and implement technological or process improvements to enhance competitiveness.
• Support quality initiatives, analyze root causes, and develop specifications with minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• At least 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in Power Products or Powersports.
• Strong guiding skills for small teams, effective communication, and high confidentiality.
• Proficiency in FTA, FMEA, dimensional tolerance analysis, drawing/layout skills, and product development scheduling.

Working Conditions:

Office-based with frequent keyboard use, potential travel including overseas, and exposure to typical office and shop hazards. Overtime may be required.
