Senior Mechanical Engineer - Butte, Montana

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion.
• Generate project requirements to resolve product/process problems and support the development of new products/processes, initiate technical investigations, and prepare design specifications, analyses, and make recommendations for presentation to management for approval.
• Lead mechanical design for a broad range of prototype, pre-commercial and new commercial products in an advanced product development environment, emphasizing quality for demanding industrial manufacturing businesses.
• Track record of solid technical leadership with preference for experience designing products for manufacture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, preferred (ABET accredited).
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Experience with SolidWorks.
• Finite Element Analysis expertise.
• ANSYS experience required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to the nature of the work.
