Legrand is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to join the EWS Electrical Infrastructure Division in West Hartford, CT. The role supports the Product Development Team with CAD modeling and drawing documentation, collaborating with Design Engineers and Engineering Managers on product testing and ongoing engineering challenges.

The ideal candidate is a college junior or higher pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree, with proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently completed a Mechanical Engineering program.
• Creative approach to problem solving based on engineering fundamentals.
• Willing to support testing and evaluation of current and new product designs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and document results clearly.

Responsabilités

• Model and document design elements for engineering solutions.
• Create testing environments, run tests, and document results.
• Review product standards and update as required.
• Collaborate on manufacturing floor to resolve design-related issues.
