Job summary

University Mechanical & Engineering AZ is seeking a Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead multi-market mechanical projects in the Tempe area. This role requires ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, coordinating field operations, and maintaining strong client relations.

With 5–7 years of PM experience, you will manage safety, schedules, procurement, and project documentation while leading a team and interacting with senior management at UMEC and EMCOR Group.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of mechanical construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, Vista-Viewpoint, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful completion of all project aspects.
• Oversee field labor, schedule, client relations, and cost control.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts and updates.
• Enforce safety programs and coordinate with Safety Director.
• Coordinate material and equipment purchases with purchasing dept.
• Ensure proper project documentation and compliance with policies.
• Direct and oversee work activities of direct reports.
