Armstrong Fluid Technology in North Tonawanda, NY is seeking an Assembly Trainee (Mechanical) for 1st shift. You will begin with hands-on training to assemble fluid-flow equipment for heating, cooling and fire safety systems, using hand and power tools to build units from drawings.

The role emphasizes learning blueprints, maintaining safety, and meeting production goals with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to learn tool usage.
• Ability to read/ write English.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fluid-flow equipment for heating, cooling & fire safety systems
• Use hand and power tools to build units from drawings/diagrams
• Test products to ensure quality standards
• Identify and report issues or defects
