Job summary

Mark Rite Lines Equipment Company (MRL), headquartered in Billings, Montana, designs and manufactures paint marking and pavement maintenance equipment for customers worldwide.

We seek an assembler to build and align components, install hydraulics and tanks, verify measurements from blueprints, and collaborate with electrical teams to ensure safety and quality before delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and BOMs.
• Experience in assembly/manufacturing is a plus but not required.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble defect-free paint marking units, parts, and accessories according to engineering specifications, drawings, and BOM.
• Assemble mechanical systems such as hydraulics, paint tanks, compressors, and striping mechanisms based on blueprints and schematics.
• Install and align components including pumps, valves, actuators, and control panels using hand and power tools.
• Fit and secure parts using bolts, screws, clips, or welding equipment to ensure structural integrity and safety.
• Connect mechanical and pneumatic systems to ensure proper function of paint dispensing and striping equipment.
• Integrate automated striping systems with truck chassis, ensuring proper calibration and alignment.
• Mount auxiliary systems such as heating units, air dryers, and material hoppers for paint application.
• Collaborate with electrical and control teams to coordinate mechanical-electrical interface points.
• Inspect assembled components for defects, alignment, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Test mechanical systems to verify functionality before final delivery or further integration.
• Document assembly procedures and maintain records for traceability and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
