Job summary

PRIDESTAFF is seeking an Assembler for a manufacturing company located in Elmhurst, IL. The role involves hands-on assembly, packaging and labeling of products on the 1st shift.

The position is TEMP-TO-HIRE with a 6:00am-2:30pm schedule and pay of $19-$20 per hour DOE. Benefits include insurance, weekly pay, and a consistent schedule with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and work orders to perform work as indicated.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Basic computer skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, calibrate components and/or assemblies to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to build products to specifications.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Clean parts to established procedures.
• Clock in/out of production software, claiming completed and scrap pieces.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes according to established procedures.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Place finished goods in the designated area.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other functions as required.

PRIDESTAFF is currently seeking a skilled Assembler for a manufacturing company located in Elmhurst, IL. This role would include hands‑on assembly ranging from simple to moderately complex, as well as packaging and labeling of products.

1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm
$19-$20 per hour DOE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build, test, calibrate components and/or assemblies to meet tolerances and product specifications
• Use hand and power tools to build products to specifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST be able to read blueprints and work orders to perform work as indicated
• High school diploma or GED
• One to two years experience in manufacturing/production setting
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Ability to work with small, delicate components
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
• Must be Punctual and Reliable
