Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, lifting equipment, and assembly documentation.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, work instructions, visual aids, and verbal directions to ensure accurate assembly.
• Conduct in-process inspections and functional testing to verify product quality and workmanship.
• Utilize barcode scanners, torque tools, rivet guns, and other production equipment as required.
• Accurately track production progress and maintain required documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Promote and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment by adhering to 5S and safety standards.
• Identify and communicate quality, productivity, and process improvement opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the large form assembly of switch gear equipment and systems for data center applications, ensuring all products are built in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, quality standards, and customer specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Starting Pay Rate: $22.00hourly
Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical assembly of components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, lifting equipment, and assembly documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or similar hands‑on technical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, technical documentation, and visual work aids.
• Proficiency in the safe use of hand tools and material handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows‑based systems.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage changing priorities, and work overtime as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
