Job summary

Conveyor Concepts of Michigan, LLC is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for 1st shift in Coopersville, MI. You will assemble custom conveying and material handling equipment from blueprints and BOMs, using hand and power tools, to build subassemblies.

Requires 2+ years in mechanical assembly, ability to read blueprints and tape measures, and lift 50 lbs. This full-time role offers a 5:00am–3:30pm schedule, Monday–Thursday, with overtime on Fridays when needed, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Mechanical Assembly experience required.
• Proficient at reading a tape measure.
• Proficient at reading a blueprint.
• Proficient at using hand and power tools.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build custom conveying and material handling equipment from a blueprint, layout drawings and bills of material.
• Use hand and power tools to fasten or install fixtures or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies.
• Inspect, operate, and test equipment to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to customer specifications.
• Perform general labor tasks as required, such as drilling, tapping, de-burring, chain cutting, installing rollers, hole/slot punching as required.
• Be mechanically inclined and have own basic hand tools.

Job Title: Assembler

Employee Type: Full-Time, Manufacturing

Shift: 1st Shift 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Thursday. 5:00am-1:30am on Friday.

Location: 743 Main St. Coopersville, MI 49404

Pay: Up to $24.00/hr. (pay issued based on experience)
