Job summary

CHASE Staffing in Illinois is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to perform start-to-finish assembly of packaging equipment, reading blueprints and integrating mechanical and electrical components. You will use hand and power tools, build assemblies and sub-assemblies, troubleshoot errors before final build, and ensure conformance to drawings. This role requires pre-employment screening and offers day shifts in a precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Electro Mechanical Assembler tasked with performing start‑to‑finish assembly of packaging equipment, assembling both mechanically and electrically from blueprint to finished product.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete assembly of packaging equipment.
• Read and interpret assembly, detail, and balloon drawings to identify dimensions, material type, and tolerances.
• Assemble components mechanically and electrically using hand and power tools.
• Determine required hardware independently and plan build sequence based on drawings.
• Build assemblies, sub‑assemblies, machine segments, and assist in constructing standalone or integrated systems.
• Use tools such as wrenches, allen keys, power drill, taps and tap drills, hammer, and screwdrivers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors prior to final build.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprint and drawing symbols.
• Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Experience assembling large equipment in a shop environment.
• Pre‑employment screening: drug screen and background check required.
