Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC is seeking a 1st shift Mechanical Assembler for our job shop. Hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime depending on workload.

You will prepare components from assembly instructions, verify connections, test products, maintain inventory, and keep the work area safe and organized. Basic hydraulics or pneumatics knowledge and ability to read drawings are required.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics.
• A good mechanical aptitude.
• Basic wire skills.
• Ability to test product and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
• Proficient in setup and product testing.
• Analysis and troubleshooting of product failures.

Responsibilities

• Checks on stock level while maintaining inventory supplies.
• Set up and test product with minimal supervision
• Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Comply with company policies and procedures; observe safety rules and regulations, reporting hazardous conditions and unsafe practices to Supervisor.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.

Working Conditions:

• Job shop environment.
• Rapidly changing priorities
• Forty-hour work week (potential for overtime dependent on workload).
• Safety shoes/glasses required
