Job summary

Wacker Neuson Group is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build construction equipment on a 1st or 2nd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will read engineering drawings, assemble components, and verify quality using hand and power tools.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical assemblies, strong attention to detail, and reliable attendance to contribute to a collaborative team focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools safely.
  • Experience reading blueprints, assembly drawings, or work instructions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical assemblies is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components and complete equipment according to blueprints, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
  • Install components including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Verify proper fit, function, and quality of assembled products.
  • Identify and report quality concerns or production issues.
  • Perform inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet company quality standards.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area while following all company safety policies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and production leadership to meet daily production goals.
  • Cross-train in multiple assembly areas as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
