• Read and follow assembly drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Drill and tap holes, determine bolt sizes and press fit bearings.
• Understand drive mechanisms, air cylinders and pneumatics.
• Experience with electrical wiring; competent in the use of a voltmeter.
• Understand leveling and squaring techniques.

Mechanical Assembler Opportunity in Chatham County, NC

Job Summary We are seeking hard-working and reliable assemblers to join our growing operation. In this role, you will perform various duties to assemble parts, wiring and build to specifications. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, you will fulfill assembly per work orders. You must be meticulous and ensure each order is filled accurately.

Pay rate: $15.45 hr

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read/follow assembly drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Be able to drill and tap holes, determine bold sizes and press fit bearings
• Be able to understand drive mechanisms, air cylinders and pneumatics
• Experience with electrical wiring and competent in the use of a volt meter
• Be able to understand leveling and squaring techniques
